In May 2024, the Physical and Chemical Testing Personnel Qualification Certificate Examination, organized by the Zheqin Agency Logistics and Training Service Center, was held at the Global Valve Group Testing Center.

Established in January 2020 with approval from the Provincial Institutional Reform Commission, the Zhejiang Provincial Government Logistics and Training Service Center is a provincial public institution of category II (at the deputy director-general level). It was formed by integrating the former Provincial Development and Reform Commission Training Center, Provincial Economic and Information Technology Commission Publicity and Education Center, Provincial Quality and Technical Supervision Education and Training Center, Provincial Small and Medium-sized Enterprises Science and Technology Education and Training Center, Provincial Local Taxation Cadre Training Center, and Provincial Development and Reform Commission Service Center.

The certification examination for physical and chemical testing personnel typically covers extensive theoretical knowledge and experimental skills, encompassing physics, chemistry, materials science, laboratory techniques, testing methods, and standards. This certification examination focuses on: spectroscopic testing and manual chemical analysis of various metallic materials, as well as practical examinations on mechanical properties and metallographic analysis of materials. Candidates underwent thorough prior study, preparation, and practical training to master the relevant knowledge and skills. Pre-exam instruction was provided by Professor Jin Dingfeng (Ph.D.) from the School of Materials and Chemistry at China Jiliang University and the head of the Global Valve Testing Center, who explained operational challenges in the practical examination. After benefiting from Professor Jin's rich and vivid explanations, every candidate successfully passed the examination and obtained the Physical and Chemical Testing Personnel Qualification Certificate.
