Wu Chengqian, Deputy Party Secretary and County Magistrate, emphasized that Yongjia is currently at a critical juncture in accelerating the development of its two major industrial clusters—traditional and emerging sectors—each targeting a hundred-billion-yuan scale. The county places greater emphasis on innovation and actively seeks talent. He expressed hope that students would choose to settle in Yongjia, organically integrating their academic pursuits with local industries, and grow together through mutual support and collaboration. Yongjia will consciously strengthen its sense of ownership, sparing no effort to provide universities, enterprises, and graduate students with the best policies, optimal environment, and top-tier services. We strive to make Yongjia the place where everyone can rapidly grow and realize their dreams.

Zheng Xiaoping, Vice President of Lanzhou University of Technology, expressed gratitude to the Yongjia County Party Committee and County Government for their long-term attention and support to the development of the Wenzhou Pump and Valve Research Institute of Lanzhou University of Technology. She noted that Yongjia, renowned as the “Hometown of China's Pump and Valve Industry,” possesses a robust industrial foundation in this sector. By leveraging the university's distinctive academic strengths to establish a joint graduate training base in Yongjia, the initiative achieves precise alignment between local industries and specialized talent. This collaboration holds significant practical value for advancing industry-academia-research innovation, fostering technological achievements in pump and valve technology, facilitating technology transfer, and cultivating skilled professionals.
