Following rigorous evaluation and multiple rounds of screening, Global Valve Group has been designated as the second batch of Wenzhou Doctoral Innovation Stations for 2024. As a national “Little Giant” enterprise specializing in niche markets within the energy sector—serving thermal power, petrochemical, natural gas, and coal chemical industries—the establishment of this innovation station will introduce high-caliber doctoral teams from universities and research institutions. It will focus on developing core valve technologies for complex operating conditions, including high temperature, high pressure, sulfur resistance, erosion resistance, and corrosion resistance, addressing user demands for high-parameter valves in demanding environments.

In 2022, Global Valve Group became the graduate internship and practical training base for the Wenzhou Pump and Valve Engineering Research Institute of Lanzhou University of Technology. The company has also signed a long-term “Technology Development Agreement” with Lanzhou University of Technology. Through joint industry-academia R&D, the collaboration strengthens the integration of industry-academia-research practices, talent pipeline development, and policy resource consolidation, injecting sustained innovative momentum into the company's long-term development. The Doctoral Innovation Station will further deepen university-enterprise collaboration, forming a closed-loop system of “talent supply-technology breakthroughs-achievement transformation.” This initiative will cultivate technically proficient personnel with practical experience for the company, assist in resolving critical technological bottlenecks, and advance the replacement of imported products with domestically manufactured high-end valves.
Global Valve Group will actively fulfill its social responsibilities by driving industrial upgrading and regional economic growth. It will contribute to Wenzhou's high-level development as a national innovation city, accelerate the creation of a more vibrant “Millennium Commercial Port, Happy Wenzhou,” and build a high-quality demonstration zone for common prosperity.
