2. Due to their design features, shut-off valves have high hydraulic resistance and a significant pressure drop. The material of the sealing surfaces of the gate and seat must be resistant to corrosion and erosion, as well as maintain hardness at high temperatures. Therefore, the sealing surfaces are surfaced with a hard alloy to increase wear resistance and resistance to scratches, which increases the service life of the seal.


3. A double valve design can be used to reduce the torque when opening/closing the valve.


4. The middle cavity of the valve has a self-sealing design, which ensures a reliable seal at high pressure — the higher the pressure, the better the tightness.
