Detailed product information
1. A quarter turn significantly reduces wear and friction on the gland seal, preventing external leaks.
2. The erosion-resistant ball valve design provides a larger opening area with the same stroke in the initial opening stage, reducing pressure drop more quickly and shortening the exposure time to high pressure drop, which effectively extends service life.
3. Graphite gland seal and pre-tensioning of the seat with disc springs prevent jamming at high temperatures.
4. In special operating conditions (for example, in drainage valves of main steam pipes, which, in addition to drainage, perform the function of steam discharge during pipeline warm-up), high flow velocity and significant impact loads cause high-frequency oscillations of the ball in the valve cavity, affecting the stem, which leads to a sharp increase in torque and can cause breakage or deformation of the stem, rendering the valve unusable. The use of throttle washers allows energy to be dissipated when the valve is initially opened, minimizing erosion and cavitation.
5. The monoblock design provides a more compact design.
